Improve Workplace Wellness

Our Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialists implement customer-specific solutions to alleviate discomfort. Whether it’s an ergonomic mouse, an individual stretching plan, or body mechanic recommendations, our ergonomic specialists recommend customized solutions to improve home-office wellness.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Our Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialists go through a three-step process. Please see the three steps below.

Pre-Screen

Before the virtual assessment, our ergonomic specialists will review the employee’s injury and workplace information as applicable. This will allow the ergonomic consultant to efficiently analyze the employee and their home workstation.

Virtual Ergonomic Assessment

We start the conversation on a online virtual platform.  The ergonomic specialist interviews the employee for 10-15 minutes to review job duties, work habits, positioning, and body mechanics at their home office.  The ergonomic specialist then analyzes the employee’s behavior, office space, and equipment (i.e. desk, chair, computer, mouse).  Additionally, the ergonomic consultant will view each employee performing daily job duties to analyze and help determine the source of discomfort. Some body mechanic and environmental recommendations may be made on the day of the assessment. However, the ergonomic consultant will make most recommendations in the written report.

Written Ergonomic Assessment Report

Within a week of the virtual assessment, the ergonomic specialist will send an email to the designated contact person with a list of solutions to improve office wellness. Solutions can include but are not limited to, environmental modifications, a customized exercise and wellness program, and ergonomic equipment. The consultant will make specific non-installed product recommendation (for example, a specific keyboard, mouse, or footrest). For products requiring installation (i.e monitors arms), our ergonomic specialists will guide the HR specialist and inform them of important considerations before purchase.
